Based on a new generation of print head technology, the VS-640 fires droplets of seven different sizes with unmatched precision for beautifully smooth gradations, precision photographs and flawless solid colors. Metallic Colors and White Ink Produce Premium Quality Results
With the introduction of the VS-640, Roland's spot color library has been expanded with more than 500 metallic colors that are easy to apply to any graphic. The VS-640 swatch library also allows you to choose colors from popular graphics software including Adobe® Illustrator®. With white ink, you can produce vivid CMYK colors even on transparent film by adding a white undercoat. Roland's advanced ink circulation system automatically prevents the pigments in metallic silver and white inks from settling, minimizing ink waste without manual intervention.
