Electro Foam Trim series can cut 1/2" Sintra and Gater Board, Foam Board & Corplast to 1 1/8" thick.
This electric foam trimmer is available in both vertical and horizontal configurations. Fixed blade cutting head is constructed from hardened steel; precisely aligned by dual aluminum guide rails and driven by a one quarter horsepower motor coupled with a positive chain drive.
Variable speed cutting head operates at 6 inches per second on the cut. Return speed is variable dependent on the substrate being cut. Both configurations are supplied with 5, 10, 20 and 30-mm cutting heads for scoring, single pass or bi-directional cuts.
Precise targeting of each cut is accomplished with the aid of a "Laser Designator" alignment system. Controls include "up" and "down" motor control and "panic stop" push buttons. Fixing bar adjusts to height of substrate, automatically stabilizing the sheet for clean, crisp cuts and eliminates pinching of substrate edges. Left and right lateral extensions as well as an adjustable reference bracket is supplied with each trimmer.
The electric foam trimmer will cut a variety of substrates including rigid foam board up to 1.18 inches (30mm) or Sintra up .50 inches (13mm). Oversized left and right lateral extensions are optional. |
