From the day it installed its 54-inch UNIFORM Cadet printer from digital print specialist PrintMAX, Regal Signs and Graphics hasn’t looked back.
“Already we can see how much time and money it has saved us,“ says Jan O’Rourke, Sales Director for the Hackbridge-based sign and graphics shop. “Prior to buying the system in November 2005, we were primarily working with cut vinyl in-house and outsourcing all our digital print requirements but the Cadet has really started to make all the difference.”
Regal Signs has been operating from of its Hackbridge premises for two and a half years now, although the Company has been involved in the business of signage and graphics for over eight years.
The company has a reputation for delivering what it promises and has a vibrant client list that includes Transport for London, Local Police Stations, Council Offices and are proud to be sponsors of Croydon College.
The arrival of the 54-inch UNIFORM Cadet print & cut system has broadened the company’s service portfoilo considerably. For example, one of the major jobs it has undertaken recently is a Wayfinder-type signage system for the vast Mayday teaching hospital in Croydon, which is currently undergoing major modernisation as well as new building work.
“There are over 130 departments at Mayday hospital“, says Jan. “We have designed and created a grid-based site plan. Every department has a grid reference that can be easily found on the two monoliths at the main entrance. There are 60 site and route maps all round the hospital, displaying ‘You are here’ signs to find your way round easily. Mayday Hospital are undergoing extensive refurbishment and as all signs are designed and saved, each time a department moves, they are easily edited and re-printed on our wonderful new CADET, making it a cost effective and manageable system.
